Most of the time we stay on target with our blog. You'll find us sitting right in the center of that bullseye of your greatest interests most days because that's the way the Duct Tape Marketing Blog Team works--as marketing evangelists for small business. If you comment or send us email, that helps us stay on task and on target. Today we found a diversion worth sharing.
On Sunday we take time to read, think, breathe, go to church, be thankful and get a renewed attitude for the week ahead. It seemed like a good day to read the October issue of The Lutheran Magazine. (If you are keeping score, there are more than 66 million Lutherans in the world.)
Bob's Duct Tape Bible was the headline on the first page as you turn back the cover. Not a table of contents or an ad but a short, well-written story about Bob Everhart of Solon, Ohio, who used his Bible so much he used duct tape to hold it together. There's a picture of it and you can see the duct tape itself is worn and frayed. It was used at his memorial service this year.
Everyone in the Duct Tape Marketing movement is a bit of a missionary, with every intention to put the Ultimate Small Business Marketing System in the hands of every business owner who wants to win business and keep customers without so much struggle and expense.
Making a difference in the world--how many of us will achieve that profound level of transformation? Obviously, Bob did.
